Completing and Submitting Assignments
Working on Assignments
Completing assignments on LifeSchoolers works similarly to solving a regular worksheet, but your work is tracked and your score is reported to your teacher. Here is how the process works from start to finish.
Starting an Assignment
On the Assignments page, find the assignment you want to work on in the To Do section and click the Start button. This opens the assignment worksheet where you can begin solving problems.
Two Types of Assignments
Your teacher can create assignments in two different ways:
- Topic-based assignments — When you start the assignment, a unique worksheet is generated just for you based on the assigned topic and settings. This means every student in the class may get slightly different problems.
- Specific worksheet assignments — You work on the exact same worksheet your teacher created. All students in the class work on the same set of problems.
Solving and Submitting
Work through each problem on the assignment just as you would on any worksheet. Type your answers in the input fields and click Submit for each problem to check your work. Your score is calculated based on the number of correct answers out of the total number of problems.
Score Visibility
Once you have completed and submitted your assignment, your score is recorded and visible both to you and to your teacher. You can see your score on the assignment card in the Completed section. Your teacher will see it in their grading dashboard.
Reviewing Completed Assignments
After submitting, you can click Review on any completed assignment to revisit the worksheet. This lets you see your answers, the correct answers, and the step-by-step solutions for any problems you missed.
Tip: You can start an assignment and come back to it later — your progress is saved automatically. You do not need to finish everything in one sitting. Just make sure to complete it before the due date.
