Deleting Your Account
Before You Delete
Deleting your account is a permanent action that cannot be undone. Before proceeding, consider whether canceling your subscription might be a better option. Your account and all your data remain intact and you can always re-subscribe later.
Tip: If you are thinking about leaving because of a billing issue or a feature that is not working correctly, reach out to us at [email protected] first. We are happy to help resolve issues before you take the step of deleting your account.
How to Delete Your Account
- Navigate to Account Settings by clicking your profile icon and selecting Account Settings.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see the Danger Zone section, which is outlined with a red border to draw your attention.
- Click the Delete Account button inside the Danger Zone.
- A confirmation dialog will appear asking you to enter your password to verify your identity.
- After entering your password, click Confirm Delete to proceed.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, all of the following are permanently removed:
- Your account profile and login credentials
- All worksheets you have generated
- Your entire progress history and scores
- Any class enrollments (as a student)
- If you are a teacher: all schools, classes, assignments, and associated student enrollment records you created
If you have an active paid subscription, it is automatically canceled at the time of deletion. You will not be charged again after your account is removed.
Important Considerations for Teachers
If you are on the Teacher plan, deleting your account has a broader impact. All schools, classes, and assignments you created will be deleted. Students who were enrolled in your classes will no longer see those classes or assignments in their accounts. Make sure to inform your students or co-teachers before deleting if others depend on your class structure.
This Action Is Irreversible
Once you confirm deletion, there is no way to recover your account, worksheets, progress, or any other data. If you decide to use LifeSchoolers again in the future, you will need to create a brand-new account and start fresh.
Tip: If you are not sure about deleting, consider canceling your subscription instead. You will keep all your data and can re-subscribe whenever you are ready.
