Finding Your Join Code

Each class in LifeSchoolers has a unique 6-character join code that students use to enroll themselves in your class. To find the code, navigate to the class detail page by clicking on the class name from your Teacher Dashboard or school detail page. The join code is displayed prominently on the page in a large, easy-to-read monospace font.

Copying the Code

Next to the join code you will see a Copy button. Click it to copy the code to your clipboard instantly. A brief confirmation will appear to let you know the code was copied successfully. You can then paste the code into an email, text message, chat, or any other communication tool you use with your students.

Ways to Share the Code

You can share the join code with your students in whatever way is most convenient for your teaching environment:

• Email — Paste the code into a welcome email or class announcement.
• Text message — Send the code directly to students or parents via SMS.
• In person — Read the code aloud, write it on a whiteboard, or hand out printed slips.
• Class syllabus — Include the code in your printed or digital syllabus so students always have it on hand.
• Learning management system — Post the code as an announcement in Google Classroom, Canvas, or any other LMS you use.

How Students Use the Code

Students enter the join code on the LifeSchoolers homepage or by navigating directly to the /join page. After entering the code and confirming, they are immediately enrolled in your class. From that point on, any assignments you create for the class will appear on the student's Assignments page.

Tip: Write the join code on your whiteboard at the start of each term, or include it in your class syllabus. Students who join late can use the same code at any time — it does not expire.
